About FRS: Floor-Ready Services, a third-party service provider with an experienced labor force in its own 135,000 sf. facility. Geared towards preparing products to the retail supply chain, both hard and soft lines, we physically touch and process over 20,000,000 units a year. (The term Floor-Ready means preparing for the “retail-floor”. We are NOT a floor company!)
We are outsourced by both large retailers and manufacturers when: • Problems exist with the receipt of imported goods. • Packaging/Re-packaging product. • Building and filling Displays. • Assorting products for large distribution centers so they can quickly ship to their stores. • Handling returns.
FRS has been in business for over 25 years. What makes us unique is our full-time workforce whose average employment is over 12 years.
Job Overview: You must have prior success selling high-ticket outsourcing services and custom solutions to top executives and senior management of large corporations in the Supply-Chain Distribution market with a long sales cycle against an incumbent vendor. You have successful experience displacing the competition with value. You have the ability to orchestrate a complex sale with many players. You excel at building relationships and have a proven ability in leveraging those relationships into long-term clients.
You excel at finding and closing new opportunities, possess strong closing skills, consultative selling skills, and are excellent at problem solving. You are a hunter who thrives on the chase and is motivated by the success of the journey as much as you are by the reward.
You must be a highly motivated self-starter and an over- achiever and work well independently and as part of a team. You must be willing to travel occasionally and have prior earnings of at least $140,000, on a variable compensation plan.
This position reports directly to the company President.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Prospects consistently, gets to decision makers, gets appointments when prospecting, comfortable talking about money, enjoys selling, recovers easily from rejection, develops bonding and rapport, attempts to close, has closing urgency, uncovers actual budget, controls emotions, gets referrals, does NOT assume, learns how/why prospects buy, etc.
We're looking for someone that customers see as a problem solver and value-creator, not as pitchmen pushing our services.
